Tyfo® WAB Composite
using Tyfo® S Epoxy
DESCRIPTION
The Tyfo® WAB Composite is comprised of Tyfo® S Epoxy and Tyfo® WAB reinforcing fabric. Tyfo®
WAB is a custom 0/90 degree bi-directional weave aramid fabric used in the Tyfo® Fibrwrap®
System. The aramid material is orientated equally in the 0o and 90o direction. The Tyfo® S Epoxy
is a two-component epoxy matrix material.
USE
Tyfo® WAB Fabric is combined with Tyfo® epoxy material for lightweight reinforcement for
masonry, hollow clay tile, brick, CMU block and other surfaces, as a reinforced coating, finish
fabric, and blast protection application for bridges, buildings, and other structures.
ADVANTAGES
• Good high & low temperature properties
• Bi-directional for strength in all directions
• Impact-resistant, tough material
• Long working time
• High elongation
• Ambient cure
• 100% solvent-free
