Description: Old brick walls, insufficiently reinforced, had developed large cracks and were
structurally unstable.
Solution: Load bearing walls were strengthened with 2 layers of Tyfo® SEH-51 E- Glass, saturated
in an epoxy matrix. All voids were filled with epoxy grout, creating a smooth bonding surface prior to
the installation of the Fibrwrap®.
Benefits: The original architecture was kept in place with minimal alterations. The life of the
structure has been preserved and extended for historical purposes. Speed and ease of installation
kept construction costs to a minimum. Significant increases in strength were obtained throughout
the entire wall.
