Design Goal: Externally reinforce 35 joists to handle additional loading.
Description: Thiry-five joists were reinforced with a specified number of layers of Glass Fiber,
saturated in an epoxy matrix. Epoxy injection was done prior to the composite application. A final
protective paint was applied to ensure long-term performance from the jacket.
