Design Goal: Externally reinforce concrete bent with carbon and glass.
Description: The 24 ft. long, 8 ft. wide highway bent was wrapped with the Tyfo® SEH-51 (E-Glass)
and SCH-41 (Carbon) Systems. A final layer of UV protective paint was applied to ensure long-term
performance from the jacket. Epoxy injection was necessary prior to retrofit.
