This report describes experimental results from an on-going comprehensive research program to study the fundamental stress strain behavior of concrete confined in various types of advanced composite jackets. More than 200 concrete stub columns with composite jackets have been tested under axial compression. Experimental parameters include plain concrete strength, types of composites as well as jackets thickness. This report specifically presents the test data of concrete cylinders confined by in-situ installed multi-layer glass fiber reinforced composite sheets manufactured by Fyfe Co. |
