FThe Tyfo® Fibrwrap® System has been used extensively on bridges, tunnels, elevated roadways, airports, and other transportation infrastructure all over the world. In the 1980’s, the very first research conducted on the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® System was on bridge columns for added strength and confinement. These tests were quite successful and they led to the development of design procedures for various columns, beams/pier caps, walls, slabs/soffits and beam-column connections. Additional rigorous structural and durability testing was performed to gain acceptances from the various, Cities, Counties and State Departments of Transportation.
